Not the biggest apple fan out there, however, Steve Jobs is a very respectable guy. Kick ass interview towards the end, no thanks to the idiot interviewers. Brilliant.

This interview is historic data. We could fairly noticed the two approches that built this industry a sensitive and a more racional one. But both were on the experiment and risk field and influenced one another in huge aspects. As Bill said, Steve has always had a more design intuition than him. Bill was the guy that seased oppurtinities in a rational way. Steve, on the other hand, has always tried to create new things in complete innovating ways. Watch this guys, really good stuff…

No I think that’s the point; you have the two most important people in the computer world of the past three decades together in an interview, and it has to get spoilt with a bunch of idiot interviewers. Kudos to Jobs and Gates for having insightful answers to even the most inane questions, but imagine how much better it might have been if each of their questions were like the quality questions the audience gave for the last ten minutes or so.

So glad that the audience had some interesting questions.

wouldn’t make marketing sence since you could not derive or make out that microsoft is in the picture with Apple-soft (or soft-apple). It does not “sell” microsoft’s public image

I like it with out the ‘M’
‘Apple-Soft” or ‘Soft-Apple’ :3)

The session was good, but could have been so much better if they had dumped Swisher, limited Mossberg to a moderator/color guy role, and let the audience ask questions for the duration.

also, if your’re gonna talk about steve stealing from xerox make a reference from Bill stealing from steve.

BSD kernel is open source. He did not steal it, cause you can only steal what belongs to someone else.

These two guys are so complementary of each other, just like mr. Gates says that his mind works as one of an engineer (he of course is one) while mr. Jobs has the geniality of combining people and product.
In general, I like a lot how these two gentlemen talk, in their own ways about creating value, doing what you love and persevere. These are the heroes of our capitalist entrepreneurial knowledge technology society.

Fortunately for us, Bill and Steve’s passionate devotion to their respective desires and dreams have opened up the world for all of us. It will be great to see what comes down the road in the future.
The choice of interviewers leaves a lot to be desired.

Much better comments from the audience as oppose to the those two incompentent interviewers.

Amazing people. And look at the freakin quality of their visions. WOW. Audience questions were so much smarter than the stupid interviewers.

at the end of the interview they were both like “thank god, lets get out of here”

Great interview! Thanks for all the parts.
Both Jobs and Gates are brilliant minded people.

if bill gates is that bad he wouldn’t be here and for one thing he contributes in more areas than apple does. If people are only focused on iphone or ipod that bill is not more focused on that area..
